In February 2024, the operators of ROKUSAN ANGEL's predecessor, "Burlesque Tokyo," were arrested for violating Japan’s adult entertainment laws by allowing female staff to interact with guests without the proper license. At that time, Burlesque Tokyo was well-known, and the arrest stirred up heated discussions on social media.

In short, in Japan, establishments must obtain a license to serve guests after midnight. Burlesque Tokyo violated the law by operating until 1:00 AM without the proper license.

In May 2024, Burlesque Tokyo rebranded as "ROKUSAN ANGEL," and they now close at midnight to comply with the law. So rest assured when visiting! (Haha)
